Re:treat is a luxurious safari lodge situated on a raised platform with a large timber deck with its own wood-fired hot tub. There’s plenty of space to kick back and relax with views of the pond and of stunning sunsets over the hills at night.

Re:treat has three bedrooms and can sleep 7 adults. There is a quirky and comfortable ‘den bed’ which houses a king size bed, a triple bunk room (double bed with single bunk above) and a beautiful four poster bedroom. There is hanging space and shelf space available as well as a handy area under the den bed for storage or indeed for making into a play den!

The large wood burning stove is at the hub of the open plan kitchen, dining and sitting area providing heat on chillier nights and a place to cook up a feast. The kitchen is equipped with the essentials you need and the gorgeous kitchen unit complete with butler sink and copper tap makes washing up (almost) enjoyable!

The private wood clad separate shower room and cloakroom is accessed via the rear bedrooms. The shower-room accessed at the rear of the lodge has piping hot water with paraben-free hair and body wash products. The shower room has a fantastic large shower with piping hot water and a picture frame window with views across the field in the other bathroom there’s a flushing toilet and sink. Hot running water is ‘on tap’ provided by the gas fired combination boiler.

The raised front veranda of Re:treat is an impressive 3 metres deep and 8 metres wide and has its own wooden wood-fired hot tub. The wooden hot tub is a fantastic way to relax….from watching the sun setting each evening or just having a relaxing daytime dip. There is also seating on the deck to take in the view of the pond and relax with friends and family.

We can’t wait to show you pictures of the external and internal accommodation in 2018…Please watch this space!

*Re:treat is a peaceful and secluded location however, If the wind is in the wrong direction some low-level road noise may occasionally be heard from the A6. Whilst evident on occasion, we do not feel this should detract from the beautiful location, facilities and experience of glamping. Please also be aware that whilst the glamping site has low-level fencing around it, there is an adjacent deep pond. More information can be found in the Terms and Conditions.
