We have had an excellent time at Re:treat Glamping! The tent is beautiful with extremely comfy beds, a well equipped kitchen, a warm stove, and great showering facilities. Care and attention has been paid to ensure there is everything needed for a family stay such as lanterns, games, blankets and hot water bottles. The little extra touches like marshmallows to toast were a real hit with the kids! The area is beautiful and you really do feel to have your own piece of private countryside. Walking to local villages has been fun and the kids have spent hours playing by the little lake whilst we got to relax on the sun loungers on the deck! Jo and Nick have been excellent hosts, catering for our every need. As their first ever guests we are confident that this will be a very successful venture and we will definitely be rebooking. 😊

A fantastic family glamping experience

We could not fault a single aspect of our wonderful stay at Re:treat. Joanne made us feel so welcome and was a friendly & gracious host. The facilities are excellent – comfortable and stylish. A beautiful setting as well. And don’t forget the reflexology…..the icing on the cake. We hope to return next year. 😊

A glorious weekend break

We had a wonderful stay in the safari tent. It is in a perfect location – very tranquil and private with lots of space and areas to explore. The host, Jo, was so helpful and accommodating and couldn’t do enough to make our stay perfect. There were so many finishing touches which made it very special. The shower had amazing views and the beds were really comfy. We would recommend to everyone!😊

Perfect stay

From initial contact with the delightful owner Jo, the whole experience was absolutely fantastic, clear directions on how to access the private lane, then to be met by Jo and given a personal tour of all the amazing walks there are around the property and the 5 star super safari tent which is located in an absolutely wonderful wonderful location and kitted out with bits and bobs you wouldn’t find in a boutique hotel. just go and sit out on the deck with a glass of something tasty in your hand and watch the wildlife and shooting stars come and go.😊

Glamping on steroids, impossible not to relax and switch off

Me, my fiancé and our 2 year old daughter stayed here for a long weekend and couldn’t recommend it enough! The Safari tent itself is incredible and the surroundings are just stunning! Everything is just so thought out. Jo was so lovely and helpful and even had arranged for a box full of toys and books for our daughter on arrival. Which she loved! She also loved feeding the fish from the jetty everyday using the fish food provided in the summer house. There is so much to see and do but also perfect for doing nothing and relaxing around the fire pit toasting marshmallows in the evening. We also opted to do the fishing in the lake which my fiancé loved and he managed to catch a few fish during our stay too! The inside of the Safari tent is incredible! You have everything you need. The bed was super comfy and enjoyed the views whilst having a shower in the morning! The surroundings are absolutely beautiful, so much space all to ourselves. We loved watching the sunset and got up to see the sunrise in the mornings. The views are incredible. We loved that there was a whole box of outdoor games too that even included a kite! Just so many little extras that really Make it that bit more special. There’s some lovely walks straight from the Safari tent to the nearest towns and local pubs. We ate in both the cross keys in Pulloxhill and jolly coopers in Flitton where the roast dinner was amazing! We visited Ampthill too which is a lovely little village. We loved every single minute of our stay and we can’t wait to visit again! Thank you Jo for a beautiful weekend at retreat Glamping! 😊

The most amazing stay in the most beautiful place!

Stayed for four nights over May bank holiday with my husband and 7 year old son. Everything about the holiday was amazing. The safari tent was spotless, spacious, stylish, and had everything you could need. All set in beautiful surroundings and plenty to do from indoor and outdoor games, feeding the fish, toasting marshmallows and watching the sun setting over the pond. We enjoyed walking to the nearby villages along the footpaths and had a lovely Sunday lunch at the Cross Keys in Pulloxhill. We’ve stayed at a few different glamping sites over the years and this one is absolutely fantastic! 😊

Magical camping experience with a 5 star boutique feel

Stayed for May Bank Holiday weekend as family of 4. I was wondering how long it would be before the kids started complaining they missed their PS5… they never did! The safari tent is awesome and strategically placed to make the best of the lovely views and sunshine all day long. We dined outside on the deck A LOT! Jo has thought of everything so it didn’t matter that we forgot a few bits and there is lots to do on site and nearby. The firepit is definitely worth having. Means you get all the good bits of camping (sitting round fire toasting marshmallows) and none of the bad ones (en-suite private bathroom means no queuing for the toilets/showers). Loved every minute! Thanks Jo and Nick 😊

Socially distanced glamping extravaganza

Really special place – we had an absolutely lovely time playing outside, toasting marshmallows and flying kites during our stay. The safari tent is pristine and lots of little extras are included. We will be back!
