What time can we check in?

We ask that you to check in please between 4-6pm. The field and access fields are unlit and car free and therefore very dark at nightfall. Unloading, unpacking, lighting your wood burning stove and getting settled is much easier in the daylight. We understand that with work and existing commitments this may be tricky so if you can’t arrive until after dark we suggest you come early the next morning instead. Please get in touch with us to discuss and arrange any special requirements prior to arrival.

What time do we need to check out?

10am please – This allows us to properly clean the accommodation prior to our next guest’s arrival.

What do I need to bring?

We’d recommend bringing wellies and macs in case it rains & A good torch will be helpful also (we do also supply a wind up torch in the safari tent). Slippers, warm clothes and layers are recommended and baby bedding if you’re hiring our travel cot. If you are bringing chilled items, please be mindful that the solar fridge at Re:treat is relatively small.

How do we get there?

We will send you a welcome email a few days before you arrive with directions and instructions where to park. Please make sure you’ve used a current email address and mobile number on the booking form so that this information reaches you. If you haven’t heard from us before you arrive please check your spam folder in case our email has gone there. Information can also be found in our Find section.

What is included?

Beds are made up on arrival and for chillier nights there are hot water bottles and a selection of snuggly blankets. The kitchen is fully equipped with crockery, cutlery, standard kitchen utensils and cooking pots and pans. In the kitchen you’ll also find a tea towel, washing up liquid, sponge and hand soap. There is also a supply of coffee, tea, sugar and basic condiments, kitchen roll, foil and cling film as well as a stove top coffee maker and a stovetop kettle. Can we bring our pets?

We’re afraid that at this time, we can’t allow pets at Re:treat due to the proximity of occasional grazing livestock on adjacent fields.
